ATTENTION: 2017 DRIVER’S MEETING SCHEDULED FOR MARCH 4TH

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (February 20, 2017) – The NYPA Midget Association is eager to hit the ground running for the 2017 season. Preparations for the upcoming season are already under way as the NYPA leadership has been hard at work during the off season. With several very well received announcements already made, and plans for a few more before the season’s first green flag flies in April, the NYPA Midget Association leadership  have set a date for this year’s preseason driver’s meeting.

The NYPA Midget Association will be holding it’s annual pre-season driver’s meeting on Saturday, March 4th 2017 at Buffalo Riverworks located at 359 Ganson St in Buffalo, NY at 1:00PM The meeting will cover the  TBD October date on the 2017 season, the latest rules changes specifically regarding the addition of fuel injection, the DynoJet Power Commander style tuning tools and the introduction of electronic scoring.

Charlie DiRosa, NYPA’s  President, couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season “The 2016 season was our best year yet! We brought on some great new partners, and we are looking forward to announcing their return along with the addition of some new ones in the coming weeks. Award winning website designer and experiential motorsports marketing firm Double Clutch has put together some exciting things for our 2017 season and we don’t know of a better place to discuss that then at the Buffalo Riverworks.”

The meeting is open to current NYPA Midget Association drivers and owners, current Lucas Oil Can-Am Series drivers & drivers planning on running with NYPA this season. New drivers and owners must RSVP with Charlie DiRosa prior to the event by emailing info@nypamidgets.com or calling 716.353.1139 and will need to be at Buffalo Riverworks on March 4th at 12:45PM.
